Today we finally decided to give Amber's beautiful hair a long-awaited cut. Very long-awaited. In fact, it's her first hair cut ever.

And while it was sad to sweep away her amazing baby curls, it was a relief to discover that even without those nearly three-year-old ringlets her hair still has some good body. Plus, she looks so cute and suddenly grown-up (and maybe a little Ramona-ish?) with short hair, that, less than a day after the big trim, I already can't imagine her with the old long hair. (And I'm looking forward to not doing as many morning battles with tangles!)
Cute hair cut on a cute girl :o)
